How fast is delivery?

We dispatch every order the next working day (Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays). Orders placed on Saturday or Sunday ship on Monday. Standard delivery is Royal Mail Tracked 48 and is free on all tyres. You can upgrade to Tracked 24 at checkout.

What does a size like 28-622 mean?

That is the ETRTO size printed on every tyre sidewall. The first number is the tyre width in millimetres, the second is the bead seat diameter. 622 is the same rim as 700c (road and gravel) and 29" (MTB), 584 is 650b or 27.5", and 559 is 26". So 28-622 is a 700 x 28c tyre.

What do TR, TLR and tubeless ready mean?

Tubeless ready tyres (Continental calls them TR, Pirelli and Vittoria use TLR) seal on a tubeless ready rim with sealant, so you can run them without an inner tube. They can also be fitted with a tube as normal.

Do you deliver outside the UK?

Not at the moment. We only ship to UK addresses.

Can I return a tyre?

Yes. You have 14 days after receiving your order to request a return. Tyres must be unused and in their original packaging. Unpacked tyres carry a £5 per tyre repackaging charge, and return postage is paid by the buyer. Email info@bike-tyres.co.uk to start a return.

Why do some tyres arrive without a box?

Some tyres are shipped without retail packaging so we can pass on the best possible price. Please check the paperwork in your parcel before unpacking.
